Custom Chocolate Warm Weather Shipping
Of course! We ship year round. Chocolates shipped during warm months and/or
to warm climates are sent either in an insulated carton or via refrigerated truck.
Insulated Containers:
When temperatures rise over 75 degrees Fahrenheit or 23 degrees
Celsius, Chocolate Inn will ship your order in specially insulated containers that also
contain ice packs.
While ice packs alone can only be counted on to last for 24 hours this double
insulation method extends the longevity of the ice packs to 48 hours thus keeping
the product cool for a full 2 days. The result is that most orders can ship via UPS
Ground (provided the shipments are within a 2 Day Ship Zone) or 2 Day Air. This
translates into huge savings in freight over one day methods that are required
when using ice packs alone.
